The International English Language Testing System, or IELTS, is an international standardized test of English language proficiency for non-native English language speakers. It is jointly managed by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia, and Cambridge Assessment English, and was established in 1989.

IELTS characteristics

IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training are designed to cover the full range of abilities from non-user to expert users. The Academic version is for test takers who want to study at the tertiary level in an English-speaking country or seek professional registration. The General Training version is for test takers who want to work, train, study at a secondary school or migrate to an English-speaking country.

The difference between the Academic and General Training versions is the content, context, and purpose of the tasks. All other features, such as timing allocation, length of written responses, and reporting of scores, are the same.

IELTS preparation

At the Academy, the lessons are meticulously designed to meet the needs of each student during group or one-to-one classes. The students will acquire the most effective methods of answering the questions. The lessons are taught only by highly expert teachers who have priceless experience in this exam.

Students can choose to prepare for the IELTS through group or private lessons offered both online and offline.

IELTS preparation class focuses on all four skills tested in the IELTS (i.e., reading, listening, speaking, and writing) and include a minimum of 72 and a maximum of 80 lessons depending on the time of the class.

Students accepted for our preparational classes are considered to be advanced speakers of English. During the duration of the program, they will work on improving their question-solving techniques, time management, and creating a more proficient organization of their spoken and written responses.

During the program, students are provided with necessary materials and guidance that will enable them to continue their preparation even after the course has ended; thus, ensuring higher grades in the official IELTS exam conducted by IDP or British Council.
